The Challenge
Wema Bank was perceived as slow, old-fashioned and unreliable. The brief: disprove this definitively. Reposition the brand as fast, innovative and fit for Nigeria's new generation of consumers.
Our Solution
We developed a 360° strategy anchored on signing Teni the Entertainer as brand ambassador. We wrote 3 TVCs using lyrics from Teni's chart-topping songs as the creative spine — humanising all banking products and making them relatable. Deployed across TVC, OOH, radio, digital, social and experiential.
